Each year, Uniworld introduces two new ships into its fleet. In 2001, it launched the Rhone Princess and River Princess. In 2002, it inaugurated the Seine Princess and River Empress. In 2003, it introduces the River Countess and River Duchess, sister ships to the beautiful River Empress. In 2004, it plans to introduce three new ships.

Passengers who are less than 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or older. There are no special arrangements, activities or accommodations for children on Uniworld cruise/tour programs.
